The Bowl

This is project is conceived of as in intersection between a Southern Ontario landscape and a facility for music performance, making use of a mature existing network of cultural tourism and performing arts in the region. The design of landscape and building are considered in a complementary and overlapping fashion, with the boundary between the two often obscured. The project is designed in essence as three linked experience landscapes - Orchard, Field and Bow - each of which is augmented through the insertion of a complementary built piece.
